Our Office of Multifamily Housing, Development Division, administers state and federal funding to help finance the construction of new and the rehabilitation of current affordable housing throughout Ohio.

Once construction is complete and residents have moved in, the work of our Program Compliance team begins. They make sure the developments funded by OHFA are safe, well maintained, and meet the funding guidelines.

OHFA's Office of Single Family Housing works with more than 150 lenders throughout the state to provide discounted mortgage rates, down payment programs, tax credits, and loan products to make buying a home more affordable for eligible homebuyers.
